The Last Word

I'm doing quite well, I think. The last novel, Believing in Butterfly was out earlier this year and I've already completed another. I gave myself a deadline and decided to enter the Kindle Storyteller competition... I'm not holding my breath about winning or even having the final draft back from the editor in time to compete. I am however much more confidant that, if I ever get a publisher, I will be able to cope with deadlines. So, all in all, a good exercise. Am I pleased with it? Well, I like it but I have this thing about never being quite good enough so I'm always hyper-critical of my own work. Still if I keep going, hopefully I will get better and eventually write that best seller! Cindy Ellery is a modern fairy tale, a take on... well, I'll let you work out which one. I have two more in the pipeline to complete the trilogy. The main characters are female in this set and the protagonists varied... from princes to wolves to witches and dragons but not quite as we know them from our childhood. Love rears its ugly head from time to time but is never a priority for my ladies.
