All change

It can be a strange time of year, Easter. I never quite know how I'm supposed to feel. It has become a mini Christmas in some ways... feasting, over-indulging in the consumption of chocolate and an uncomfortable awareness that something absolutely terrible happened to a man who was trying to save us from ourselves. I have used Halloween, Christmas and Summer in my novels but, for some reason, not Easter. Perhaps because it can be a confusing time. However, it is Spring and that brings with it some relief that we have the opportunity to start again and change some of the things of which we are not so proud. I feel it is important to remember that nothing changes if nothing changes. We can always start again and begin a new chapter. Change is the one constant in life.
